Not so long ago Geelong was seen as a basket case when it came to playing games away from Victoria.

Between 2002-2005 the Cats dropped 12 consecutive interstate contests. But how things have changed in recent years.

Geelong will look to add to its seven game interstate winning streak when it travels to AAMI Stadium on Friday night to take on the Crows.

Over the past two seasons the Cats have beaten Port Adelaide (twice), Adelaide, Fremantle (twice), Brisbane and West Coast on the road.

The last road loss came against Hawthorn in Launceston last season, while the last time the Cats dropped a game to an interstate foe was against the Crows in round 13 2006.
