THERE were plenty of ups and downs in the final round before the byes. We experienced a heap of carnage on Thursday night and it won’t get any easier over the next three weeks as teams look at the potential of giving sore players two weeks rest, as opposed to just taking the rostered bye.

Fantasy Pig
Since being included in the Swans line-up, Tom Mitchell has shown all the qualities of a Fantasy Pig. Over his six games, he has only dropped under triple figures on just one occasion and that was for a score of 95. Amazingly in that time he has four scores of more than 110 including this week’s massive 131 against the Suns. He is a must have.
Fantasy Prestigiacomo
It is a bit harsh to cop a Presti on the back of an 80, which would be considered a solid score for most, such is the expectation on the shoulders of Jordan Lewis. On the back of last week’s late withdrawal, a big score was required to repay the faith and judging by his coach’s reactions, the 80 didn’t cut it.
Piglet
With ruck bench options few and far between, Keegan Brooksby poses as the biggest piglet on record and looks a viable option on the back to two solid performances. Not only will he make some handy cash, tactically he could score some vital points through the byes after scoring 60 and 53 in his first two games

Oxley playing the loose role across half back very nicely. #AFLFantasy #SuperCoach

Ox was awesome floating around down there for 126! Very unlucky for the many coaches who traded him out this week. The writing was on the wall for a rest and he was named at the end of a long extended bench at lockout.
#AFLFantasy @DTTALK Owning Tom Mitchell is like being in a cab stuck in gridlock ... Can't take eyes off the counter ticking over and over

Haha! How good is he though? Certainly a must have.
Good luck navigating the first week of the byes!
