The Hawks were host to a select group of media today at Waverley Park to launch the Club's commemorative home guernsey and complete 2011 kit.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Hawthorn’s first premiership in 1961 and the Hawks’ subsequent five decades of flags, the Club has produced a commemorative guernsey which the players will wear for every home game in 2011.
The guernsey features the names of all 118 players who won a premiership in the brown and gold, with the middle strip dedicated to the 1961 premiership team.
The special jumper and entire 2011 kit is available now at HawksNest Waverley Park and Glenferrie, on match-day at HawksNest outlets, and online at HawksNest Online.
