James Brayshaw
Since taking over as Chairman of the North Melbourne Football Club in 2007, our Board has helped stabilize the club both on and off the field. We now stand on the threshold of another successful era.
Under our leadership, membership has increased by some 33 percent, sponsorship has jumped by 30 percent and revenue is up by 25 percent. We have built a new world-class facility at Arden Street, returned the club to its members and recorded an unprecedented three consecutive profits. We have also secured funding for a full redevelopment of the Arden Street Oval.
We have appointed a first class CEO in Eugene Arocca and undertaken a successful restructure of the club’s front office and football department.
We have come a long way but we still have much left to do. Our board is committed to building non-football revenue, expanding our supporter base, developing new markets and tackling our debt.
I know that with a united board, committed administration, and the support of all of our members, we will achieve all of these, and more. My commitment is to provide the club with stability and growth not just for the short term, but for our future.

I feel honoured to be a director of the North Melbourne Football Club and joined the board in 2007. I led the search for our CEO, which resulted in Eugene Arocca’s appointment, and was instrumental in signing several key sponsors including Aspen and ASG. I have extensive links within the past players association and business community, which I have used to benefit the club.
I enjoy mentoring club senior executives and generally helping the club, especially Brad Scott, Donald McDonald and the Football Department.
I have nearly a decade of AFL experience in various club positions namely at Fremantle as Business Manager, Port Adelaide as Sales & Marketing Manager and Richmond as Chief Executive.
I was also privileged to wear the Kangaroos’ jumper for 32 games between 1990 and 1992.
I am CEO of PGA Links Management and hold directorships with several companies providing management services to the golf and residential sectors. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, an MBA and have attained CPA status.
Together with my brother James and Trevor O’Hoy, I seek re-election for another term. I believe I have much to offer with the work that lies ahead to ensure a stable future for North Melbourne.

I offer myself to the members of the NMFC for election to your board.
I have been a financial member and supporter of the club for many years. I was proud to hand my shares back to the club as part of my opposition to moving our club to the Gold Coast.
Relocation of our club is not an option - we are committed to Arden Street and that’s not negotiable. I do concede that we may have to play some games at an alternative venue but only where that arrangement has significant financial benefits to the club, especially by helping reduce our debt, and appropriate consideration to the rights of members.
My business life has been very successful and now I want to help ensure the club achieves financial sustainability by exploring opportunities to secure non football revenue. I want to work with the other Directors to help reduce our debt and to bring the North Melbourne business family back to the club.
I strongly support the club’s executive and onfield endeavours - we have a great coach, fantastic developing team and great facilities. Let’s get the business side right now to secure our future.
I would appreciate your support.

Trevor O’Hoy
I have been a member of the NMFC Board since 2008. I bring extensive business, strategic, and financial experience to the board.
I have been Chief Executive Officer and Director of Foster’s Group Limited, where I was instrumental in helping to grow the company into a world leader. I have also held the roles of Foster’s Chief Financial Officer and before that, Managing Director of Foster’s cornerstone business, CUB.
I have a Bachelor of Economics degree from Monash University, attended Harvard Advanced Management Program and was later recognised by Monash University with a Distinguished Alumni Award.
I sit on a number of other Boards and have extensive business connections around Australia.
In my time on the NMFC Board I have worked closely with Eugene Arocca to identify and sign corporate partners and played a pivotal role in the development of the club’s strategic plan. I have worked to ensure that the club’s approach to everything from the top down is professional.
Along with the other Board members, I am committed to expanding our existing Victorian home base into additional secondary supporter markets to allow us to continue to grow off the field and to be competitive on the field.
David Wheaton
Member since 1989.
I am an experienced CEO with more than 20 years in executive roles and hold Bachelor of Banking and Finance and Bachelor of Arts degrees.
As chairman, I led the campaign of We Are North Melbourne to return ownership of the club to the members and keep it from being relocated to the Gold Coast. I now seek your support to be a genuine member’s voice at the board table.
If elected I will devote myself to:
1. Whatever it takes to win our fifth premiership.
2. Growing the club in Melbourne and along the Western Highway (Ballarat and beyond).
3. Amending the constitution so any proposal to play more than four home games
interstate will require a vote of members.
4. Holding a member’s conference to find new and innovative ways to grow the club.
5. Online campaigns through channels including Facebook and Bigfooty, to reduce debt, grow membership and increase game-day attendance.
While I enjoy being a fan in the outer, I have my eyes on the big picture and believe in a strong, unified board, with a clear vision.
