ADELAIDE is set to regain key duo Jason Porplyzia and Bernie Vince for Saturday afternoon’s crunch match with the Western Bulldogs at AAMI Stadium.
Porplyzia is expected to join his teammates in competitive training this week for the first time since suffering brain bruising and concussion in the round 18 win over Carlton.
Vince, who has overcome a hamstring strain, is also available for selection.
Veteran Tyson Edwards, who was a shining light for the Crows in Sunday’s 48-point loss to St Kilda, said the talented pair’s return was timely given the importance of this week’s game.
“Jason and Bernie are obviously two quality players,” Edwards said on Monday. “They’ll add quite a bit to the team because they’ve had great seasons, so it will be great to have them back.
“I think if we win this week we get a home final, so that’s certainly something to have a crack at and an advantage if we can get it.”
