Sam Michael (Queensland)
Cairns-bred 198cm ruckman/defender took nine marks and had 16 possessions in Queensland’s loss to NSW/ACT. Has been impressive at senior level for Redlands in the AFLQ this season.

Josh Bruce (NSW/ACT)
The left-footed key forward took nine marks - seven of them contested - against Queensland, and finished with four goals five behinds. Looks a likely GWS target.

Charlie Riewoldt (Tasmania)
Brother of Jack and cousin of Nick, Charlie is a medium-sized forward with sure hands and an accurate kick. Took seven marks and kicked four goals against NT in Launceston.

Corey Baxter (NT)
Gathered 18 possessions across half-back to be one of his team’s best in the loss to Tassie. Has averaged 99.8 Dream Team points per game in his three championships outings so far.

Shaun Atley (Vic Country)

The medium midfielder was a clear best on ground in his side’s close win over WA. With great leg speed, exceptional awareness and quick hands, the Murray Bushranger looks set to be snapped up early in this year’s draft.

Ben Jacobs (Vic Metro)
Prolific ball-winner who shone with 47 possessions in the midfield and across half-back as Vic Metro beat SA. Boasts a penetrating left foot kick and reads the play particularly well.

Reece Conca (WA)
Midfielder averaging 21 disposals at 80 per cent efficiency and five tackles per game so far in the championships. Was impressive in the loss to Vic Country and looks a likely draftee come November.

Brodie Smith (SA)
The versatile 188cm clearance specialist from Woodville West Torrens was prominent against Vic Metro. Averaging 23 possessions (including nine contested) per game in his three state appearances this year.
