SUNDAY
After a pretty disappointing loss the night before against North Melbourne, I woke up pretty early and went for a quick recovery walk with the boys around the Albert Cricket Ground which is near our Melbourne hotel.

I had a bit of breakfast back at the hotel before heading up to one of the function rooms at the hotel to have a chat with my Victorian player sponsors. We generally catch up with our sponsors at a function in Melbourne each year.

Once the function was finished, I popped down to a packed foyer to spend some time with more of our Victorian junior fans after the scheduled clinic got washed out.
We left for the airport straight afterwards and headed back to Brisbane.

We had no commitments at the Club so I just went home, got some take-away Japanese food and relaxed on the lounge at home.

MONDAY
Monday was actually my 20th birthday.

I went in early to the Club for some recovery, triage, pilates and a light gym session before we got stuck into a review of the weekends game.

Later on I went out for a birthday feed at the Emporium in the Valley with a few close friends.

TUESDAY
Tuesdays are usually a huge day at the Club.

We started off with a light run and touch session on the Gabba and then had a few more meetings. I also managed to squeeze in a pilates session.

The afternoon was kept pretty free because most of the boys went out to visit junior clubs for their annual Pie Nights. I headed down to The Gap and spent some time with their junior players who were a great bunch of kids.

WEDNESDAY
Today was a day off for all the boys.

I still went in to the Gabba for our Lions Leaders program which is something that was set up the Club. It's a great program which is held every couple of weeks and a lot of the players and football staff get involved.

Once that had finished, I went out for a hit of golf with James Hawksley and forme Lions rookie Daniel Dzufer at Nudgee Golf Club before spending another relaxing night at home with a nice home-cooked meal.

THURSDAY
Back into the Club for a bit of physio and then the entire football department got together for a group lunch. Elizabeth who works with us downstairs had whipped up a feast of hamburgers which all the boys got stuck into.

Had a quick massage with our soft tissue therapist and then went into an opposition meeting to discuss the Western Bulldogs. Obviously I wont speak too much about what was discussed in there...

We then had our main training session for the week at Coorparoo which lasted for about two hours then just another quiet night at home.

FRIDAY
It was a pretty quiet day today with only a light weights session in the morning followed by some more pilates.

A few of the guys will travel down to Melbourne early to spend time with family and friends while the rest of us will jump on the plane tomorrow morning.

Hopefully we can get back on the winners list this Sunday against the Bulldogs.
