WESTERN Bulldogs recruit Ed Barlow set Etihad Stadium alight with a super smother and goal in the second quarter against Adelaide on Friday night.
Barlow, in just his second game for the Bulldogs, stood the mark in the forward pocket as Crows opponent Ricky Henderson looked for an option up field.
Henderson attempted a short chip inboard, which Barlow jumped up and smothered, knocking the ball towards goal.
The 24-year-old former Sydney Swan then recovered in time to run onto the loose ball and snapped truly to put the Bulldogs within three points at the 24-minute mark of the term.
