SUMMARY
Port has made a habit of keeping games reasonably tight this year, certainly by the final siren. They went down on the weekend by under a goal to a highly-impressive Melbourne in Darwin, one of three games they've had decided by under a goal this season. The Tigers, of course, haven't won a game so far in 2010, despite running the Hawks to within a goal in round eight. Last week they kicked as many goals as the Bombers did after quarter-time, but the damage was well-and-truly done by the first break with seven goals to two. Maybe they got a bit ahead of themselves after nearly beating the 2008 premiers. Then add in the fact that at AAMI Stadium, the Tigers have beaten Port there just twice from 12 attempts.

PLAYER TO WATCH
David Rodan
has been blitzing since his return from a LARS knee reconstruction earlier this year. He had a conventional reco while at the Tigers, who supported him through his recovery year and promptly cut him from the list. Like all players, he's sure to want to have a good game against his former team.

Ben Cousins missed two games before coming back in for the weekend's loss to Essendon. He had 17 disposals but just six kicks, and is averaging just over two inside-50s across his five matches this year. He needs to get going if he's to have a chance of extending his career into 2011.

QUESTION MARKS
Can the Tigers return to the form they showed against Hawthorn?

Can Port Adelaide consolidate their top-eight spot with their sixth win?

WHO WILL WIN AND WHY?
Port Adelaide has the runs on the board, despite failing to get the choccies last weekend in Darwin. The Tigers have been as inconsistent as you would expect from a young team. If Port Adelaide turns up to play, it's hard to see the Tigers matching them across the whole match.

PREDICTION:
Port Adelaide by 26 points.
