Brilliant midfielder Andrew Swallow was voted the Blackwoods Supporter's Player of the Year on Wednesday night and North Melbourne member Geoff Rowles was there to present the trophy.

Swallow received more than 9000 votes throughout the season from visitors on kangaroos.com.au, edging out Daniel Wells, Todd Goldstein and Drew Petrie.

Wednesday evening was the second time the trophy has been presented, with captain Brent Harvey taking home the prize in 2010.

The club ran a competition with one lucky member and a friend able to attend the night and be on stage, with Rowles also winning a JBS-Toolkit valued at over $1,000.
