The Essendon Football Club has a reputation as a leader in the Australian sports industry, with a proud history and strong values. Driven to be recognised and respected as the most successful sporting club in Australia, both on and off the field, we are now seeking a Marketing Services Manager to join our Events team.

 

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for:

 

·         Leading and providing expert guidance to a team of marketing services professionals ranging in skill levels and experience

·         Implementing a strategy to deliver EFC’s events including major, coterie, match day and others

·         Developing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing of annual budgets

·         Project managing across EFC’s events and assigned cross-Club projects

·         Managing key accounts of specific coterie groups including committee support, event coordination, budget and expense management

·         Instilling a team value proposition that ensures a ‘best in industry’ service and a memorable experience for all clients

 

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

 

·         Ability to develop integral relationships with all clients, suppliers and coteries

·         Creative ability to ensure EFC events offer an entertaining experience to its patrons

·         Strong understanding of profit and loss and budgeting processes

·         High attention to detail

·         Experience in a similar role

·         Ability to lead and manage a team of Marketing Services professionals, with a focus on development
