Tarrant had 33 possessions and was extremely effective putting a lot of defensive pressure on the Bombers' forwards.
Rookie Majak Daw was another standout after a strong day in the ruck and in the forward line while fellow rookie Matthew Scott continues to rack up the numbers.
Here's how Werribee coach Paul Satterly described North's contributors after the disappointing loss to Bendigo:
"Robbie Tarrant (33 disposals, 8 marks) had a terrific game and was our best player today. He held down the key defensive role down back, had over 30 possessions, got a lot of the footy and competed well. Robbie was probably one of our only wins today."
"Majak Daw (15 disposals, 6 marks, 30 hit-outs, 4 tackles, 10 one percenters) was another one of our best players. He competed really well and took some terrific marks. He started the game off really well and right until the end Maj was working really hard for us. He just continues to show us glimpses of why he's such an exciting talent."
"Ben Ross (16 disposals) was down on his previous games where he's been terrific all season. Played on the wing most of the day and I think he'd be a little bit disappointed, it was just below the standard he has been setting."
"Matthew Scott (27 disposals, 1 goal, 7 tackles, 7 one percenters) was our best midfielder today. He won a fair bit of the footy and used it really well. He was definitely one of our better performing midfielders."
"Levi Greenwood (21 disposals) was pretty good; he played 70% of the game and got through unscathed which was very important. He showed bits and pieces but he'll only get better with more games under his belt."
"Gavin Urquhart (8 disposals) started off well but received a cork to his thigh in the beginning of the second quarter and was out for the rest of the game but should be right."
"Ben Warren (14 disposals, 5 tackles) had a tough day up forward and he worked tirelessly all day."
