The Senior Coach will be expected to develop through the implementation of their coaching style and philosophy a list of inspired players willing and able to execute a game plan capable of sustained success in the SANFL competition. This platform is expected to be embraced across all levels of the Norwood Football Club.
To achieve this, the senior coach must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Prior playing or senior/assistant coaching experience at AFL or State League Level
- Impeccable communication skills
- Ability to clearly articulate a defined coaching philosophy
- Maximising team and individual performance
- Building effective relationships with coaching and support staff
- A track record of success
- Promoting the brand of the Norwood Football Club
The Senior Coach will also work to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including members, media, sponsors, zoned schools and clubs in an effort to further promote and develop the Norwood Football Club.
With an expectation of success in the immediate term, this is a critical appointment for an individual who has the drive and passion to fast track the club towards attaining premiership success.
