Bio: Lance Daly is a goalkicking tall forward who represented WA at the NAB AFL Under-18 Championships in 2008.
Jason McCartney says: Daly played predominantly as a key forward and at 191cm, he presented really well. He looked like a good forward and played the percentages all of the time. It will be good to see how he progresses. Lance showed natural goal-kicking instincts and he really looked the part.
WA U18 coach Andrew Lockyer says: Lance is a very natural forward – takes a good grab and has got a good kick. He’s got a bright future; in time he’ll make an excellent AFL player. He’s still got a lot of learning to do, but I think being in the AFL environment he would be quite exceptional for any club that he went to.
