Scans today have cleared young Swans player Gary Rohan of damage to his right knee.

“It was just a knock and he should be right to play against Hawthorn on Friday night,’’ the Swans General Manager, Football, Dean Moore, said today.

“While he did have some pain in his knee late in the match against St Kilda, he was able to return to the field and a scan this morning showed there was no damage.’’

Midfielder Dan Hannebery has also pulled up well after dislocating his shoulder on Saturday night.

“His shoulder is improving daily,’’ Moore said. “Dan will be assessed later in the week but we’re hopeful he can play against Hawthorn.’’

In other news, ruckman Shane Mumford has today been cleared of any wrongdoing by the AFL Match Review Panel. His contact with Ben McEvoy was deemed a legitimate attempt to spoil.
