The LeasePlan Western Bulldogs take on Melbourne this Saturday at the MCG and the Club is calling on members to come out in force and cover the G in Red, White and Blue!

The game is one our 'replacement home games' so members can use their membership card to gain general admission access (seating on level 3) subject to capacity. (Note: reserved seat holders will not have access to their reserved seats for these games as they are ‘away’ games).

Senior Coach Rodney Eade has put the inspirational first round match behind him and encouraged the playing group to focus on a strong performance in Round 2.

"Our aim is to achieve consistency. Yes, Sunday's game was fantastic but that's over now and we need to focus on Round 2 and perform at a consistent high level.

We cannot go into this game over confident as Melbourne will come out fighting after the bad loss they suffered in Round 1. They will be determined to reverse their fortunes and we can't succumb to that," he said.

Current membership levels for the Club are down compared to this time last year and we encourage all supporters to sign up to the Red, White and Blue.

Interstate Home Games and “Replacement Games”
As you may be aware, the Club plays two ‘home games’ in Canberra and Darwin. For those who are unable to attend those games, we have negotiated two “replacement games” in Melbourne. Please put these two important dates in your diary now!

·     THIS WEEKEND: Round 2 v Melbourne– Saturday 29th March – 2:10pm – MCG
·         Round 19 v Kangaroos – Sunday 10th August – 1:10pm – Telstra Dome

At these ‘replacement games’, your Western Bulldogs Membership Card can be used to gain general admission access to Telstra Dome and the MCG (seating on level 3), subject to capacity. (Note: reserved seat holders will not have access to their reserved seats for these games as they are ‘away’ games).

Premium Ticket Sales - Round 3 - Western Bulldogs v St Kilda- Friday 4th April - Telstra Dome

Due to the expected high attendance and demand for tickets, Rows A-F on level 3 will be released for sale to Club members and the general public.  Any 11 game, 17 game, Long Distance and Multi 3 members wishing to reserve a seat need to only pay for the reserved seat itself.

Ticket Prices
  • Adult / Concession $16.75
  • Junior $6.65
Members can reserve a seat through Ticketmaster via the following sales channels:
Members will need a 12 digit barcode for each seat purchased.

Tickets are currently on sale.  All remaining Level 3 tickets will be available as per normal on the night of the match.

Round 4 - Essendon vs Western Bulldogs - Friday 11th April 2008 - 7:40pm - Telstra Dome

Our round 4 away game against Essendon at the Telstra Dome on Friday 11th April has been classified as a ‘Fully Ticketed Game'.  When a Western Bulldogs away game is classified as a 'Fully Ticketed Game' the following applies to all Western Bulldogs members:
  • All Multi 3 and 17 game Adult, Concession and Junior members must purchase a seat.  Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster (Phone: 1300 136 122  Web: http://www.ticketmaster.com.au/ ) prior to the match or at a venue box office on match day.  A booking fee (approximately $3.30 for adults & $1.20 for juniors) applies for level 3 tickets from Row M to the back of the stadium on the wing or Rows A to L behind the goals  (booking fees only apply when pre-booking via Ticketmaster).  It is very important members specifically ask for these tickets when booking otherwise they will have to pay a premium to sit in Level 3, rows A to L on the wing.
  • All 11 game Adult, Concession and Junior members must purchase a reserved seat entry ticket through Ticketmaster prior to the match or at a venue box office on match day (Note:  a premium seat levy applies to Rows A to L on Level 3).
  • All 2008 17 game Cheer Squad members will need to register for a ticket to this game by calling our Membership Services Centre on 1300 GO DOGS (46 36 47).  Members will need to quote the membership numbers and barcodes of all members requiring a ticket.
As this game is expected to be well attended, all Western Bulldogs members are encouraged to purchase a ticket in advance of the game to avoid missing out on match day (Note:  your membership card will not gain you entry into the ground)
