There's no coincidence that the Swans' great form at the business end of 2011 coincided with some career-best performances from ruckman Shane Mumford.

After showing glimpses of his best form in between breaks from injury and suspension, Mummy burst to life in the last five games of the season. During that spell he controlled the ruck to average 14 possessions, just under four marks, and an amazing 40 hit-outs per game in the run home.

Mummy will look to bring his late season form into 2012 and continue to feed the Swans key group of midfielders.
