AFTER going down in a tough contest, afl.com.au went into the Dream Team rooms to find out what the players thought about the match.

Peter Burgoyne
“It was awesome, I loved it. It was a lot quicker than a normal game so that was probably the main difference. It was pretty free flowing. It would be awesome if they did this every couple of years."

Leon Davis
"It was great to meet the other players because I usually shy away from that sort of thing after games when we play them in season, so it was good to be able to have a chat to them and get to know a bit about them and their families… but once we get back to our clubs it’s going be back on (laughs). But maybe if I see them on the bottom of a pack (Dream Team teammates) I might help them up now."

Brett Burton
"It’s been the best week of my footy life. I haven’t played in a grand final so I haven’t had the build up to a really big game like it was tonight so it certainly has been the best week of my footy career to be involved with elite players from the competition. I made some good friendships that I’ll take away and some really good memories."

"I think there was a really good atmosphere tonight. The crowd really got into it. It was a really close game and I don’t think you could have asked for much more. It delivered on what everyone thought it would."
