“It's obviouslya big game for us on the park. I can't help on the field but off the park I'llbe helping the Heart Foundation,” Kennelly said on Tuesday.
“I'll be helpingcollect money for the foundation with the buckets so look out for us. I'll bewith other Swans, volunteers and Damien too.”
The Damien he'sreferring to is singer Damien Leith, winner of Australian Idol and a goodfriend of fellow Irishman Kennelly.
Kennelly saidhe was ready to what he can to help the foundation, although he ruled outsinging a duet with Leith. “He can do all the singing, I may just do a jig nextto him. If it means a few more bob for the Heart Foundation then I'll doit.
“If you seeanyone with the red Tadhg's All Heart T-shirts this Sunday at theSwans-Hawthorn match, dig in and put a few bob in for a good cause.”
With the gamealready a sellout, the foundation hopes it will be a successfulfund-raiser.
Kennelly'ssupport for the foundation goes further than just this Sunday and the clash withthe Hawks. Together with fellow Swan, 200-gamer Jared Crouch, the pair will runin the New York marathon later this year to raise awareness of the foundation.
As forKennelly's troublesome knee, the player was hopeful of a start in the Swans'first finals match. “The knee's not too bad. It's coming on. It's beenfrustrating but it's getting there.
“I won't beplaying this week but it'll just be a matter of seeing how the knee holds upnext week.”
