Purpose
This position is responsible for the management, implementation, budgeting and review of all Fan Development and Community related programs at the Carlton Football Club and Carlton Football Community Fund.
The incumbent will demonstrate commitment to the Carlton Football Club’s Values: Integrity,Teamwork, Innovation, Leadership and Excellence.
Reports to:
? GM Consumer Business & Digital Marketing
Direct Reports:
? Fan Development Officer, Community & Multicultural Partnership Co-ordinators
Responsibilities:
? Management of the Carlton Football Community Fund
? Further development of the Multicultural Schools Program
? Reporting to CFCF trustees on all community initiatives, budgets and future projects
? Developing a database of prospects to enable targeted marketing campaigns to increase memberships, retail ticketing and merchandise sales
? Developing initiatives to decrease churn rates and increase member retention
? Establishment of key community awareness events (e.g Richard Pratt Cup & Peter Mac Cup)
Skills and Experience:
? Qualification/Degree in Business or Arts or related discipline
? Sound knowledge of the football industry, particularly related to community Clubs, AFL Auskick and school football networks
? Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills
? Established ability to bring together and co-ordinate a diverse range of project partners
? Manage the performance of subordinates
