Adelaide captain Nathan van Berlo is expected to miss just one or two games with a slight hamstring strain.

The only Crows casualty from the opening games of the NAB Cup on Friday night, van Berlo’s injury is believed to be low grade.

Adelaide doesn’t have a game this weekend but still has a busy week ahead.

The schedule includes a main football session, official team photo shoot, the two-day Telstra AFL Community Camp in Mt Gambier, more training and the AFL broadcasters video shoot.

The Crows also have to wait until next weekend to find out if they advance to the next stage of the NAB Cup.

After the first weekend of competition, Adelaide is the highest ranked ‘loser’ from these three pools. The best two first round ‘losers’ will join the six pool winners in the qualifying finals.

Adelaide trains on Tuesday from 10.30am on Max Basheer Reserve and then on Friday at AAMI Stadium from 10.30am.

The Crows were able to use 34 players in Friday’s two games and more players are expected to become available for selection in the next two or three weeks. They include Chris Knights - who sat out the opening night to rest a corked thigh - David Mackay, Bernie Vince and Will Young.
