Sharrod Wellingham - memories of time
This pocket watch was handed down to me from my grandfather, Norm.
This pocket watch was given to me on my 21st birthday. It was my grandfathers. Norm Walsh passed away when I was young but I hold fond memories of my Mum’s Dad.
I can recall he was an early riser and was the first up. His morning breakfast always consisted of cooking a pot full of oats on a stove, which was powered by wood!
After his morning feed he would head out to the stables where he would spend the rest of the day.
He was a horse breeder who loved the outdoors.
I keep this family heirloom in my jewelry box in my bedroom. I never wear it but it brings back great memories. It’s something, that I will pass down to my kids (if that occurs!).
Travis Cloke - three amigos
The three amigos: Me, Jason and Cam all getting washed up after what was probably a long day in the backyard running amok.
Growing up with two other brothers was a blast. It might have caused a bit of a headache for Mum at times, but I have great childhood memories.
We are best mates now and hold a strong bond.
Jason is the oldest and was the kid who loved digging holes in the backyard. He was (and still is) the handy man.
Cameron was the child who would do exactly the opposite to what Mum said. He was always distracted and getting himself into trouble.
As for me, I liked to sit back and watch the entire action take place.
As brothers we didn’t fight but we were very vocal with each other. We were, and still are, great at communicating with one another.
Jarryd Blair - time is now
If you see me at a club function or walking down the street, no doubt I will be wearing my TAG.
I received this watch during last year’s Copeland Trophy night for being voted as the ‘Best first-year player’ which was quite an honour.
It was an amazing season last year and I felt very fortunate to be acknowledged during the club’s biggest night of the year.
I was never really into watches but after you receive a TAG Heuer I have started noticing what people wear on their wrist.
I wear it all the time. It’s something I will cherish for the rest of my life.
