Round 12 of the AFL season recognises the role women play in football at all levels across the country.
Women are an integral fabric of the game of Australian Football and have been for 150 years. This involvement continues to grow - through grassroots footy, playing the game, television audiences, footy tipping, and attendances, with women representing over 45 per cent of the Crows membership base.
There will be plenty of activity to mark this occasion on match day, including the 2011 Women’s AFL All Australian Team parade at half time.
