The Vodafone Brisbane Lions will once again honour their rich history by wearing a Fitzroy jumper this weekend against West Coast as part of the AFL's annual Heritage Round.

The jumper will feature the yellow Fitzroy Football Club emblem on its front and is the same design as the one worn by Fitzroy for their final match in 1996.

Since the AFL's Heritage Round was introduced in 2003, the Lions have paid homage to their past by wearing a range of traditional Guernsey's from both the Bears and Fitzroy.

The club will also wear the last Fitzroy jumper for a second time this season in Round 19 against Hawthorn at the MCG prior to the Kings of the Pride reunion function.

The Brisbane Lions’ 2007 Puma Heritage Guernsey commemorating Fitzroy is available from the Lions AFL Shops from Monday 9 July 2007 for $129.95 each.

Avoid missing out by pre-ordering your Guernsey online at shop.afl.com.au/lions this weekend. The Guernseys are only available in adult sizes and range from S – 3XL.
