More than 100 Harmony Primary School students were treated to a footy clinic by Fremantle Football Club players today as a reward for having raised the most money when they hosted a Starlight Purple Haze Party in March.

Harmony Primary School managed to raise $650 for the Starlight Children’s Foundation, and as a result were visited by Fremantle players Stephen Hill, Casey Sibosado and Ben Bucovaz, who took the children for a footy clinic and then signed autographs.

Teacher Tynan Simokoki said the school received a tremendous response from the children and their families for the Purple Haze Party.

“Everyone came dressed in purple and raised a lot of money for a good cause,” he said. “We are looking forward to doing it all again next year.”

The Purple Haze Parties were held as lead-up events to Fremantle Football Club’s Starlight Purple Haze Game on 28 March, and the club looks forward to having everyone on board again in 2011.
