Leigh Adams
Games: 21
Goals: 16
kangaroos.com.au says:
After finishing third in the 2010 Syd Barker Medal, it seemed Adams was finally getting the recognition he deserved.
He had a pre-season setback and underwent minor heart surgery in December, but was back in action in time for the NAB Cup.
Adams had a fine start to the year with two goals and 18 disposals against the Eagles in round one, and aside from a rare quiet period in the middle of the season, he was again one of North's most consistent players.
Knee soreness kept him out of the clash against the Hawks in round 20, but he came back in after the bye and played arguably his best three matches of the year.
Played mainly at half-forward but with stints in the midfield, Adams is small in stature but makes up for it with his attack on the footy.
Adams will be in the running for the best and fairest once again.
