RICHMOND will get to play a pre-season game in Alice Springs after all, with the AFL scheduling the Tigers to take on Port Adelaide in week one of the NAB Challenge series this Friday night.

Damien Hardwick's young side was due to play the Indigenous All-Stars in Alice Springs earlier this month, but the match was cancelled due to wild weather caused by Cyclone Yasi.

The remaining four NAB Challenge matches, featuring the 10 teams eliminated in round one of the NAB Cup, will all be played on Saturday.

Greater Western Sydney will remain in the NAB Challenge series, and will front up in a twilight fixture against Carlton at Manuka Oval in Canberra on Saturday.

One young Giant may find himself lining up on reigning Brownlow medallist Chris Judd in his first match of the pre-season.

Hawthorn will take on North Melbourne at Skilled Stadium, the Western Bulldogs and Brisbane Lions will clash at Visy Park and Adelaide plays Fremantle at Thebarton Oval.
