Kids from Youngtown Primary School in Launceston were joined by Hawthorn mascot Hudson 'Hawka' Knights for Hawks-themed activities during lunchtime as part of Kick Around Tassie Day on Thursday 7 July.
Over 40 schools registered to participate in Kick Around Tassie Day by partaking in football or Hawks-themed activities in conjunction with the Club’s 10 Years in Tassie celebrations.
Each school was encouraged to take part in a free dress day and make a gold coin donation to raise funds for the Hawks' Community Partner, beyondblue.
The school that conducted the most creative activity on Kick Around Tassie Day will go into a draw to win a visit from a Hawks player and Hawka in 2011.
Hawks fans can also win exciting prizes by sending in a photo of their personal experience during Kick Around Tassie Day.
The winner of the best photo (along with nine of their mates) will receive transport to and from Launceston to be VIP guests at SuperSaturday on 6 August at Aurora Stadium where they will have exclusive access to the boundary line to watch training and meet the players afterwards.
