Midfielder Steven Salopek is back for Sunday’s clash with Sydney.

The Power named a squad of 25 players on Thursday evening, with no-one omitted as yet from Saturday’s big win over Richmond.

Salopek completed all of Wednesday’s main training session and proved he is ready to take on the Swans after two weeks off with hamstring tightness.

Key defender Troy Chaplin however did not quite do enough to recover from the foot injury he sustained in the Round 6 win over Melbourne. He will miss his second game this week.

Chad Cornes, Jacob Surjan, and Toby Thurstans, who all suffered knocks at a tough training session on Wednesday night were all named in the side.

The Power will train for the final time at midday at Alberton on Friday and then confirm its final 22 on Friday evening.

At least one player who was part of the side that beat Richmond will have to make way for Salopek.

Two players hoping to remain in the side will be Travis Boak and Brad Symes who have been added to an extended interchange bench.

Boak, last year’s No. 5 draft selection, is looking for his AFL debut, while Symes has only managed two AFL games this year after a breakthrough 2006.

You’ll be able to learn the Power’s final 22 on Friday at 4.30pm (CST) at PortAdelaideFC.com.au
