NOMINATIONS are in for the round-three Toyota AFL Mark and Goal of the Year awards, with Essendon’s lightning-quick Andrew Lovett snaring two of the nominations for his spectacular majors against Carlton.

The nominations for Toyota AFL Mark of the Year are:

* Matthew Pavlich (Fremantle), who leapt over his opponent and took a strong mark

* Daniel Kerr (West Coast), who took a strong pack mark deep in West Coast's defence, and,

* Tom Hawkins (Geelong), who jumped early and took a spectacular mark over Melbourne’s Jared Rivers. 

The nominations for Toyota AFL Goal of the Year are:

* Andrew Lovett (Essendon), who ran from the wing position, evaded multiple opponents and kicked truly.

* Dale Thomas (Collingwood), for his outstanding snap goal along the ground, and,

* Andrew Lovett (Essendon), who ran from half back and kicked a long running goal.
