Geelong has named a near full strength squad to face Fremantle on Saturday.

Nineteen of the Cats grand final winning team have been named, with only the retired Tom Harley and the injured Joel Corey and Max Rooke missing.

Tom Lonergan, James Podsiadly, Mitch Duncan, Steve Motlop and Josh Hunt have been named in the 24 player team for the trip. Six players named have played all of the Cats practice games - Hunt, Lonergan, Motlop, Podsiadly, Travis Varcoe and David Wojcinski.

The clash with the Dockers will be the last hit out before the Cats opening round match up with Essendon at the MCG on 26 March.

Saturday’s match will be played at Fremantle Oval and will begin at 1pm Perth time.
