Key position prospect Aaron Black has taken another significant step in his development, booting five goals for North Ballarat in the VFL on Saturday.

Black, who battled injuries during the 2010 season took his season tally to 28 goals after an impressive performance in the Roosters' 78-point win over Bendigo.

Fellow Kangaroo Cameron Richardson was also named among the best players with 34 possessions and a goal, while Daniel Pratt had 22 disposals and laid seven tackles.
