CARLTON defender Jeremy Laidler, Collingwood midfielder Sharrod Wellingham, Sydney Swan Shane Mumford and Hawthorn's Jordan Lewis have all been cleared despite attracting the attention of the match review panel.
Laidler came under scrutiny for the bump he laid on Essendon ruckman David Hille shortly after the Bomber had booted the ball into his team's forward line.
Hille took a few moments to get to his feet, but he was able to play out the game.
Although the incident, which occurred midway through the first quarter, was assessed by the MRP, the panel determined that the majority of contact was made to Hille's shoulder and that the level of force was low.
The panel looked at two incidents involving Wellingham. He made high contact with West Coast's Mark LeCras in the first incident, and in the second he clashed with Beau Waters.
In both cases, the panel stated that the "force used was below that required to constitute a reportable offence".
Mumford's high contact on St Kilda big man Ben McEvoy was deemed a legitimate attempt to spoil, while the match-day report laid against Lewis for rough conduct on Cat Joel Selwood was thrown out.
The MRP said that "there was no forceful high contact made and the bumping action was not unreasonable in the circumstance".
Hawthorn's Sam Mitchell and St Kilda's Dean Polo both accepted $900 fines for making negligent contact with an umpire.
