CARLTON full-forward Brendan Fevola is confident the next contract he is offered by his AFL club will keep him at the club beyond 2009.

Fevola has been one of the Blues' stars this season with 31 goals but is out of contract at the year's end, and it has been speculated that Carlton will only offer him a one-year contract to ensure he does not misbehave.

Fevola was threatened with the sack before the season began when he was caught on video camera urinating outside a nightclub, and was fined and dumped from the Blues' leadership group.

The 27-year-old said he would not be signing to just one year when contract talks came around, but was confident he expected the Blues to offer him a deal which went beyond next season.

He was also adamant he did not want to play at any other club.

"They're not going to offer me a one-year deal," he said on the Nine Network's The Footy Show.

"I love Carlton, Carlton's been my home since I was 17, so hopefully they can put something in front of me and I can accept and we can move on because there's no other club that I want to play for.
