EXCITING Melbourne rookie Austin Wonaeamirri will receive a baptism of fire with the speedy 19-year-old elevated onto the senior list and named in the team to take on Geelong at Skilled Stadium on Sunday.

“I’m looking forward to it, I’m not too nervous at the moment, but as the game gets a little closer, I’m sure the nerves will start arriving,” Wonaeamirri told melbournefc.com.au.

“It will be fantastic to play in the same team with blokes like Aaron Davey, David Neitz, Russell Robertson, and Cameron Bruce.”

Wonaeamirri, originally from Darwin, is joined in the side by important backman Jared Rivers, who managed just three games in 2007 before being struck down by a chronic groin injury, and Chris Johnson who is in for his first game of the season.

Omitted from the side defeated by the Bulldogs by 99 points are Isaac Weetra, Jace Bode and Simon Buckley with Buckley named as an emergency along with Brent Moloney and James Frawley.

Premiership defender Max Rooke has forced his way into a strong Geelong line-up after recovering from a calf strain with goalsneak Shannon Byrnes is the unlucky player to make way.

He is an emergency along with Brent Prismall and David Johnson.

Richmond has made four changes ahead of Sunday’s clash with Collingwood at the MCG with Matt White and Greg Tivendale joining fellow inclusions Kane Johnson and Mitch Morton in the final squad announced on Friday.

Both White and Tivendale will play their first games of the 2008 season with White, 20, making his first senior appearance since round 14 of last season, while Tivendale, 28, will play his 186th match in the yellow and black.
