At least a dozen Crows-listed players will play in SANFL league matches this weekend.

Ruckman Jonathon Griffin, who has been battling a hip injury, will play his first SANFL league game for Central District since last year’s grand final. Central, playing West at Elizabeth on Saturday, also named rookie James Moss on the bench.

Brad Moran has been named in the ruck for West, which loses Patrick Dangerfield back to his TAC Cup side Geelong Falcons.

The biggest group of Crows will be in action at Noarlunga, where David Mackay and Andy Otten will line up in the midfield for South Adelaide. Norwood lost Kris Massie to the Crows but regains Bryce Campbell from a calf injury and Luke Jericho, who was dropped by the Crows. Aaron Kite has been named on a wing and Taylor Walker will play in a forward pocket.

Trent Hentschel returns to the Eagles line-up to play Port at Alberton after missing one week with an ankle strain. He joins rookie Jared Petrenko and Ken McGregor.

In the Sunday game at Prospect, James Sellar will be in action with Glenelg and Greg Gallman has been named at full back for North.

Two Crows will play in the SANFL reserves – rookie Ed Curnow with Glenelg and Tony Armstrong with North.

Sturt has the bye this week.
