CTV
CTV provided comprehensive coverage of last Friday’s outstanding victory over Richmond, including MICK MALTHOUSE'S POST-MATCH PRESS CONFERENCE, a MATCH DAY INTERVIEW WITH ALAN TOOVEY, and also the WINNERS' CIRCLE, showing the boys belting out ‘Good Old Collingwood Forever’ with gusto.
On Monday CTV spoke to Geoff Walsh on THE WEEKEND THAT WAS. Walsh dissected the win over the Tigers, and with accompanying highlights spoke about the three debutants and some of the players who made big contributions.
For those interested in how some of the younger players are travelling, you can’t miss BRAD GOTCH'S WEEKLY WILLIAMSTOWN WRAP, where the Seagulls coach discusses the performances of some of the stars of tomorrow.
On Wednesday CTV wheeled out the much anticipated PIES' NESTS, a brand new show devoted to taking Magpie fans into the homes of your favourite players. For the first episode, Nick Maxwell opened up his door to CTV, and you’ll be very impressed with his nest.
Also this week, Ben Johnson took the CTV microphone and caught up with his Magpie mates around the Lexus Centre in the fans’ favourite THE BLACK AND WHITE SHOW.
Magpie Radio
In possibly the best episode yet, Ryan Cook and Daniel Nicholls paid a visit to the Magpie Radio studio for the weekly edition of THE SQUAWK, available as FREE stream or podcast, only on collingwoodfc.com.au.
The Squawk will feature two young Magpies as special guests each week. The name says it all, given ‘squawking’ is what young Magpies do when they get excited.
On Thursday night, the Pie Night team will re-convene for the weekly match preview show made for the fans, by the fans. Conno and Driver will be joined by their old sparring partner Sugarfoot, who is back after getting hitched, so don’t miss this week’s show.
The boys will also give an update on the Fans’ Player of the Year award, which you can vote for by clicking here.
Making the award even more special is that the winner will be presented at the 2007 Copeland Trophy gala evening, and you can have your say on who you think the award should be named after by emailing pienight@collingwoodfc.com.au.
If you would like to subscribe to the Magpie Radio podcast, and have The Squawk and Pie Night delivered - FREE - to your podcast client, like iTunes, every week, just drag and drop the podcast XML button into your podcast client.
All this, and more, is absolutely FREE for all Magpie fans, so make sure you stay tuned to collingwoodfc.com.au for the latest CTV and Magpie Radio every day, direct from the Lexus Centre.
