WITH THE new dual-position players (DPPs) on the table, the question is, who is worth selecting?
Defenders are once again offering very little in 2016, so James Kelly (DEF/MID, $508,000) and Bernie Vince (DEF/MID, $516,000) were the standout DPP recipients who caught everyone’s attention.

Prior to the announcement, Heath Shaw (DEF, $520,000) and the injured Robert Murphy (DEF, $481,000) were the only defenders averaging over 100.
Kelly and Vince are averaging 104 and 100 respectively and are now on the radar of all Fantasy coaches who are looking to strengthen their backlines.
Callum Mills (DEF/MID, $298,000) also picked up defender status and can now be thrown into the backline of the 37 per cent of teams he is current in.
Mills has scored 81 and 92 in his last two games and will provide many coaches, like Calvin, the opportunity to offload under-performing players such as Tom Sheridan (DEF, $371,000), who sits as the fifth most traded-out player this week.
By moving Mills into defence, Sheridan will be the stepping stone as Calvin chases the in-form Joel Selwood (MID, $515,000) who is averaging 114 in his last three games, or the Fantasy Pig himself, Tom Rockliff (MID, $505,000).
Fantasy coaches are also believing that Collingwood’s Josh Smith (MID, $153,000) is the real deal after he scored a solid 89 on debut. He’s currently to most traded-in player, just ahead of big Sun Peter Wright (FWD, $179,000) after he scored a Fantasy ton and kicked three goals.
