TWO OF the game's biggest names, Dustin Martin and Patrick Dangerfield, stamped their authority on the finals series in week two but neither could poll a perfect 10 votes in their respective wins.

Martin was judged best afield in Richmond's win over St Kilda on Friday night with eight votes from coaches Damien Hardwick and Brett Ratten, while Dangerfield shared top spot with teammate Mitch Duncan on nine votes after Geelong's annihilation of Collingwood.
West Coast's Nic Naitanui and Brisbane's Daniel Rich still lead on 10 votes but with Naitanui's Eagles out of the flag race, it's nearly impossible for him to hold on from here.
Five of the top seven on the leaderboard will take the field in this weekend's preliminary finals, when the prime contenders for the AFLCA's player of the finals are set to emerge.
Every round, the AFL coaches vote for the best players from their game. The coaches vote for five players, giving them a mark from 1-5. The maximum a player can score is 10 (with five votes from both coaches).
