THE PLAYING future of Geelong's Steve Johnson is still up in the air with the triple premiership midfielder undecided on whether he'll play on next year.
Cats coach Chris Scott said last week the club would have to make some tough calls on several senior players as the season draws to a close.
The club has already announced that Mathew Stokes and James Kelly will play their finals game for the Cats on Saturday against Adelaide.
Stokes said he hadn't yet thought about playing at another club next season but would take time to consider his options at season's end.
There has been plenty of speculation over the future of 32-year-old Johnson with a decision yet to be made.
"The club will release the relevant information at the right time," he said on Wednesday.
"At this point in time I'm just focused on playing well against Adelaide, in what is an important game for the club with a couple of retirees."

When asked if he would be playing at Geelong next year, an emotional Johnson replied, "not too sure".
Veteran defender Corey Enright is another premiership player whose career hangs in the balance.
The 33-year-old said he was still in discussions with the club.
"A decision will be made in the next week or two hopefully," Enright said.
"I'm not too sure at this stage (if I will play on next year)."
