ADELAIDE'S Nick Gill and Collingwood's Leon Davis won the respective Toyota AFL Mark and Goal of the Year nods for round 22, and the elimination final between the sides produced three more nominations.

Two of them belong to Dale Thomas, who has continued a remarkable year for efforts deserving of a highlight reel.

The contenders are as follows:

Marks
- Ed Lower (North Melbourne) – took a strong contested mark while sandwiched between Swans defenders Ted Richards and Tadhg Kennelly
- Dale Thomas (Collingwood) – ran back with the flight of the ball despite the oncoming traffic of teammate Nathan Brown and Crow Scott Stevens
- Chris Dawes (Collingwood) – flew into a pack to mark strongly, before kicking a goal to put his side in front

Goals
- Lance Franklin (Hawthorn) – cut off a handpass from Dogs full-back Brian Lake, stepped inside Tim Callan and snapped around his body
- Michael Osborne (Hawthorn) – pounced on a loose ball in the pocket, broke away from defender Ryan Hargrave, pushed through a tackle and slammed the goal through
- Dale Thomas (Collingwood) – collected a ruck tap to kick truly from outside 50 as the three-quarter time siren sounded
