I was wondering if you could clarify the list status of Tommy Walsh. On August 27 2010, the club announced that he was 'elevated to the primary list,' however, on September 5 2010, the AFL released the playing list for each club, and Tommy Walsh was still listed as an International Rookie.

With regards to Tommy Walsh we can confirm that near the end of the 2010 season he was indeed elevated to the primary list in replacement of Jesse Smith who was placed on the long term injury list.

At the conclusion on the 2010 season, the Club then returned Tommy back to the rookie list (as an International Rookie) to ensure Raphael Clarke, who was also on the long term injury list, could return to the primary list as he works to overcome his hamstring injury.

We are expecting Tommy to play senior football this year, which will mean that he will be elevated during the season again. We have high hopes for Tommy with his elite sporting background and natural athleticism. Hopefully for all Saints fans, Tommy will really have an impact this year.
