He's amassed 95 possessions in his past three games at North Ballarat in the VFL and on Sunday, Cameron Richardson will finally get another chance to prove himself at AFL level.
Highly regarded heading into last year's trade week, the Kangaroos handed over their second-round draft selection in return for the athletic 24 year-old.
After starting the first three games of the season, Richardson was used in a substitute role against Richmond but struggled to assert his influence and adjust to the pace of the game.
He wasn't to be overwhelmed though and returned the VFL to improve the chinks in his armour. Playing across half-back and on the wing, he's looked a class above the rest and has been one of the key figures in his the Roosters' revival after their slow start to the season.
While Richardson gets his opportunity to shine, Ben McKinley will remain with the Werribee Tigers for now but another bag of goals is sure to see him in the mix again next week.
Cameron Pedersen's emergence as a genuine threat at both ends of the field means Robbie Tarrant won't yet be able to squeeze back in while exciting youngster Kieran Harper has also been named as an emergency with Brad Scott covering all bases in the event of a late change.
