‘Down the Guts’ is a new weekly audio program, hosted by Andrew McLeod, featuring player and staff interviews and the latest news from around the club.
Special guest this week is Chris Schmidt, who on Sunday became the 171st player to represent the Crows. He chats about his football journey from Robertstown to Brisbane and then to the Crows, the thrill of having his parents at the MCG, and his controversial No 1 table tennis ranking among the Crows players and staff.
McLeod wonders if South Australian football fan critic Eddie McGuire ever watched footy at Collingwood’s Victoria Park.
And in this week’s ‘Quick 60’ segment, quiz master Bernie Vince challenges the inside club knowledge of forward Chris Knights. There’s also some club news and a quick look ahead to Saturday’s game against Carlton, with McLeod calling on fans to unite behind the team.
