Tickets are now on sale for the Brisbane Lions' opening round of NAB Cup matches scheduled for Friday 18 February at Etihad Stadium.

The new pre-season competition format will see the Lions face Essendon and St Kilda in consecutive matches with each comprising two 20-minute halves. Essendon and St Kilda will then face off against each other in the last of the three round robin matches for the evening

The NAB Cup event will also include a special nine-a-side Legends and Celebrity match as part of the AFL’s response to the flood disasters across parts of Australia.

Adult ticket prices start at $20 and concession prices at $11, with 15% of all gate receipts from the opening round of NAB Cup games going towards supporting football communities affected by the floods. Please note that ticket agent fees and ground levies may apply at some venues.

Children under the age of 18 can register their details at afl.com.au/juniortickets to receive a free ticket to the NAB Cup clash.

NB: Brisbane Lions Victorian Plus Members receive free admission into NAB Cup matches as part of their 2011 membership. Simply scan your membership card on the night to gain entry.

The six winners from each pool of three team, plus the two sides with the best records among the remaining clubs will qualify for round two of the NAB Cup competition, allowing for a traditional quarter final set-up of eight teams, before progressing into semi-finals and a grand final.
