The Brisbane Lions AFC advises that Chief Operating Officer of Football Dan Collins has parted company with the Club after two seasons as a senior member of the Lions' Football Department.

Collins - a four-time Olympian who has also previously held key roles with the Sydney City Roosters and the International Rugby Board - will cease his official Club duties effective immediately and begin focussing on a new challenge.

He joined the Lions as High Performance Manager at the end of 2008 and has since worked tirelessly alongside Senior Coach Michael Voss to help implement a range of exciting high performance strategies.

The Brisbane Lions AFC acknowledges the tremendous contribution that Dan has made to the Club over the past two seasons and wishes him well with his future projects.
