12 month contract
The Western Bulldogs, as one of the 18 clubs of the Australian Football League (AFL) and situated in the fastest growing region of Australia, are seeking a PA to support our General Manager, Football for a 12 month Maternity cover contract.
This position is responsible for the day to day administration of the Football Department and works closely with all parts of the business. This role is an excellent chance to showcase your administration skills in a busy, dynamic and fast paced environment. You will need strong PC skills and a track record as a PA (3+yrs) from a professional services based organisation.
In this role, you will oversee the smooth operations of our Football department where your responsibilities will include:
• Diary & email management
• Screening & management of correspondence
• Travel & accommodation arrangements for the team
• Report compilation & professional presentations
• Expense management
• Liaising with all key club stakeholders, both internal and external
• Coordination of internal & external meetings
• Filing & record management
You are well presented, show initiative and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You have a “hands on” and flexible approach to work and have the ability to prioritise and make proactive decisions where necessary. You are able to work autonomously and be assertive when required.
Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are a must and a typing speed of 65+ words per minute is essential.
This is definitely not a 9 to 5 job with assistance at key events and match days required.
