Spelly: Hi Brent, welcome to the Saints' chat room. There are several nicknames that our supporters call you – ‘Guey’, ‘Man-child’, ‘Cannon-ball’ ... what nickname have the players given you?
Brent Guerra: None really - the media have given me all the others!
lil_dal_santo: How are you feeling about the game this weekend?
Brent Guerra: Confident - looking forward to going up to Sydney and hopefully coming away with a win!
saintbrat: Hello Brent, did Matt’s head make any dents in your teeth?
Brent Guerra: No, it didn't! My teeth made a dent in his head though!
barndog: Hey Brent, life must be going great at the moment with the Saints going great!
Brent Guerra: Yeah, I’m pleased with my form and the team as well, so I couldn't be much happier!
saintbrat: How are you finding it living back in Victoria?
Brent Guerra: Struggled early, but now finding it easy and enjoying myself.
muddy35: Hey Brent, what have you found the biggest difference here at St Kilda in comparison with Port Adelaide?
Brent Guerra: Not really that much of a difference ... both teams have been successful when I’ve been playing with them - high up on the ladder!
Tassie_Saints_Chick: Hey Brent, are you and the boys looking forward to coming down to Tassie in a few weeks? We love having you! xxx
Brent Guerra: Yes, because it will be against my old team, Port Adelaide!
saintbrat: How did it feel to not kick any goals at the weekend?
Brent Guerra: It didn't really worry me because the team went so well and we kicked 31 goals, but hopefully I’ll get a few this week!
lil_dal_santo: What is your favourite ground to play on?
Brent Guerra: Telstra Dome or Football Park.
torza: Hi Brent, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Brent Guerra: Jet skiing or playing with Xbox.
Tassie_Saints_Chick: Hey Brent, how far is Matt Ferguson away from a game?
Brent Guerra: Hard to tell with the team going so well, but I’m sure he's not far away.
torza: How did you manage to kick that goal lying flat on your back?
Brent Guerra: I dunno, I just chucked it on my boot and I was lucky enough for it to go through! ... more luck than anything!
Matteo: Hey Brent, do you have any lucky charms?
Brent Guerra: Not really, just pasta the night before the game.
Matteo: Hey Brent, do you personally think the Saints are ready to play finals’ football and, if so, how far do you think the Saints can go? (I think all the way!!)
Brent Guerra: I think we're ready to play finals’ footy, but we'll just worry about that when ... if ... we get to the first final!
nicks_babe: Have the Saints made the change from Port Adelaide to the Saints easy on you?
Brent Guerra: Yeah, real easy ... the boys have been great, and the coaching staff have given me every opportunity.
barndog: How far is Voss away? Could he be a surprise inclusion this week?
Brent Guerra: No, I think he's about 2 weeks away, maybe for the Port Adelaide game.
Matteo: Hey Brent, what do you enjoy most about playing for the Saints?
Brent Guerra: Playing with a good bunch of blokes, and the success we're having as a team.
Riewoldt_Rox: Do you think you guys could win the Grand Final this year?
Brent Guerra: Anyone can win it ... it's just a matter of who is in form come finals’ time.
lil_dal_santo: How is the rest of the team finding it being on the top of the ladder?
Brent Guerra: Everyone is pretty low key about it, we're just taking it week by week, and hopefully we can finish off well.
kittycat: Hi Brent! Congratulations on your form this year - you have been awesome to watch and you have slotted in to the team so well! Do you think you have improved, or is it the new environment/coaches/team-mates?
Brent Guerra: I think I have improved, but it probably comes down to the opportunities I’ve been given compared to those at Port Adelaide.
natty: Nath from Cohuna here and I’m looking forward to the Doggies match!
Brent Guerra: Me too – I can't wait ... is that my cousin Nathan?
torza: What’s been the most enjoyable game for you this year?
Brent Guerra: Probably the West Coast Eagles game.
Matteo: Hey Brent, have you ever been told you look like Stewart Loewe?
Brent Guerra: Yes, I have ... it was written in the paper the other week!
saintjohn: What did the boys think about getting the day off training today?
Brent Guerra: I think they were very surprised ... we ended up watching a movie - The Day After Tomorrow - and it was pretty relaxing (movie wasn't too bad, 5 out of 10).
muddy35: Brent, you’re extremely hard at the ball, has this part of your game been added at Moorabbin, or is it the fact that the media is pointing at it?
Brent Guerra: I think the media are just focusing on it - I've always played that way, but at Port Adelaide we also had Byron Pickett in the team!
riewoldt_rules: Do you think Gehrig will kick 100 goals?
Brent Guerra: I think he's capable of it, and he's already kicked 50 in 10 games, so he's on his way.
lil_dal_santo: Who do you get along with the best in the St Kilda team?
Brent Guerra: Probably Barry Brooks and Steve Baker - we live in the same street so that helps.
nicks_babe: Who did you look up to when you were younger, and which club did you go for?
Brent Guerra: Matthew Knights and Richmond.
megs4_31: How are the players going with the 'keeping the lid on' with the 10 wins in a row?
Brent Guerra: Pretty good really.
nicks_babe: Do you live with any other players?
Brent Guerra: No, by myself.
saintbrat: Brent, do you have plans for the weekend off - are the boys planning to go their own way or in groups?
Brent Guerra: I’m going to Adelaide with mates for 5 days.
brent34: Brent, who do you still keep in touch with from Port Adelaide?
Brent Guerra: Roger James, Josh Francou, Josh Carr and Stewie Dew.
natty: Who cooks the pasta?
Brent Guerra: I do ... I like to think I cook a good Spaghetti Bolognese!
muddy35: Does the Club make the players pay the fines themselves, or does it pay them for you? (Nick Dal Santo)
Brent Guerra: No idea sorry.
brent34: Hey Brent, I’m coming to Melbourne (from Perth) in two weeks to watch us play the Bulldogs ... I will probably come to training - can I get a photograph with the hitman himself? (that’s you!)
Brent Guerra: Yeah, no worries ... have a good flight!
saintbrat: Brent, how do you find the media - have you avoided it, or have they not really chased you yet?
Brent Guerra: I try to avoid it as much as I can.
Guest52231: Everyone in Barham and Koondrook are right behind you ... GO SAINTS!
Brent Guerra: Thanks for that - who is that?
brent34: What are your personal goals this year at the Saints?
Brent Guerra: Play every game, and play finals’ footy.
Axcellence: Who do you think is the Brownlow chance this year?
Brent Guerra: I have no idea ... Fraser Gehrig?!
muddy35: Who is your idol, or the best footballer you have seen or played with?
Brent Guerra: James Hird and Robert Harvey.
Guest52231: Your Dad called in last night and had a beer with my Dad - he gave me the autograph! Thanks, I’m Millie from Barham.
Brent Guerra: No worries Millie!
Matteo: Hey Brent, what do you think has helped the Saints get to where they are now?
Brent Guerra: It's hard to tell being my first year here, but I think there's been improvement across the board at the Club.
katgotsaints: Where is your home town?
Brent Guerra: Koondrook, right on the Murray River.
jonno: Hi Brent, what’s the excitement like around the Club because, as a supporter for many years, I'm walking 10 ft tall!
Brent Guerra: All the boys are excited ... obviously! None of them have been in this situation before - we're all excited and looking forward to the rest of the year.
Brent Guerra: Thanks for the questions, and get behind us this week and for the rest of the season!
