1. I settled in Canberra with my immigrant parents, playing soccer and rugby until I took up Aussie Rules when I was 14.
2. I was initially invited to play at North Melbourne, but Carlton was able to have North's agreement negated, and I arrived at Princes Park in the summer 1966.
3. I played my first game in Rd 1 1967 against Fitzroy and went on to play in every game, kicking 34 goals, winning Carlton's Best First Year Player, representing Victoria and finishing third in the Brownlow Medal.
4. I went on to play 256 memorable games for the Carlton Football Club and I am a Carlton and AFL Legend.
