Brock McLean, Ben Holland and Michael Newton joined swimming champion Daniel Kowalski and Geelong legend Bill Brownless to prepare brunch for a group of lifesavers this week to help promote the Peter Mac Ocean Swim on the Labour Day holiday - Monday 12 March 2007. Beach lifesavers and lifesavers of a different kind - the staff at Peter Mac Cancer Centre - watched the boys cook up a storm on the barbecue.

The Peter Mac Cancer Centre, Australia's only dedicated cancer centre, is the official Goodwill Partner for the 12th FINA World championships, to be held in Melbourne from 17 March to 1 April 2007.

The brunch was held to urge all Australians to get behind the swim. The organisers are hoping that 4000 Australians will enter the swim in support of Peter Mac. There will be great prizes to be won, a celebrity swim, and lots of activities on the St Kilda foreshore to keep family and friends entertained.
